Friendly and informal psycho-educational programmes for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years – provided at venues across Stoke on Trent
Provided in age-appropriate formats – Stay Well offers a range of training programmes where you can learn more about helpful thinking, healthier behaviours and how to recognise and manage difficult emotions.
Wellbeing Programme:
4 weekly sessions promoting recovery and wellbeing through covering the following topics: the Think-link: the link between your thinking, behaviour and feelings; Thinking Well: how to spot and change unhelpful thinking; Self-Concept: what influenced how you view and feel about yourself and ways this can be improved, and lastly; Healthy Behaviours, how to change from unhealthy to healthy behaviours, e.g. connecting with others, exercising and eating well, getting enough sleep etc
Dealing with Difficult Emotions:
4 weekly sessions which will increase your understanding of difficult emotions, personal triggers and developing more positive ways of dealing with difficult emotions. Looking at the difference between emotions, aggression and assertiveness, the cycle of difficult emotions, and providing tips on managing and expressing difficult emotions.
Decider Programme:
4 week programme, delivered by © Decider trained staff and based on key Decider Skills, designed to equip you with the skills to recognise your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and to monitor and manage your wellbeing.
*Parents accompany and benefit from programmes for 5 to 7 year olds
