Getting More Help

‘More help’ generally refers to more extensive and in-depth support, i.e. structured, focused and proven to promote recovery from mental distress.

If a young person’s mental distress has started to negatively impact their home, school or social life, the CAMHS Team* and Stay Well work together to provide them with ‘more help’ i.e. ensuring that they get the right help at the right time.

‘More help’ is accessed via referral to the All Age Access Team, (through a phone call or completing the online referral form – please refer to contact details). Stay Well then works with the CAMHS Team to assess and meet each young person’s mental health needs.

Depending on the nature of their mental health needs, young people will either be engaged with the CAMHS Team or Stay Well CYP services*

1-2-1 Coaching
& Support

Providing 1-2-1 wellbeing coaching (based on its 12-step programme and Wellness Action Plan) and 1-2-1 support from qualified CBT-informed practitioners, (i.e. face-to-face or via Zoom).
