Getting More Help
‘More help’ generally refers to more extensive and in-depth support, i.e. structured, focused and proven to promote recovery from mental distress.
If a young person’s mental distress has started to negatively impact on their home, school or social life, the CAMHS Team* and Changes YP work together to provide them with ‘more help’ i.e. ensuring that they get the right help at the right time.
*Combined Healthcare NHS Trust’s Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services
‘More help’ is accessed via referral to the All Age Access Team, (through a phone call or completing the online referral form – please refer to contact details). Changes YP then works with the CAMHS Team to assess and meet each young person’s mental health needs.
